    and yes I know this guy has no eyes ;)

    I agree with Fury, it looks flat...

    I think the sprite overall looks good, but these are the things I thing you could do to improve:

    - Shading would be nice Smile
    - Outline of your clothes should be matching the colours used... (Ex. If the T-Shirt is blue, use a darker blue as the outline).
    - Make the hair look less flat, and at least show some of his eyes :/

    I'm too stuffed to think of anything else right now, but good job on it Smile

    Technically there the same, I think Anime just means cartoon...
    But people use the word anime instead, so that people know they are talking about japanese cartoons.

    You don't use black outlines, unless your shirt or whatever your colouring is black itself.
    And I still wouldn't recommend it since black is what we use to be the shadow of the player...
    We use DX8, so the black used will only become a shadow unless you use a different shade of black.

    black = a shadow of a player. so.
    making with a sword means. that thes shadow around the blade.
